Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Effective date: November 16, 2025

Summary

The Country Bank of Needham does not sell personal information for monetary consideration as a matter of ordinary business. If you are a resident of California (or a jurisdiction with similar rights) and wish to opt out of any sharing or sale (as defined by law), you can use the options on this page to submit your request. We will honor verifiable requests consistent with applicable state and federal law.

What “Sell” Means

Under privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the CPRA, the term “sell” can include many forms of sharing including certain disclosures to third parties for valuable consideration. For banking relationships, many routine disclosures (e.g., to service providers, payment processors, or affiliates) are necessary to provide financial services and are not considered a “sale” in the context of these laws.

Who can submit a request

  • You (the consumer) or an authorized agent acting on your behalf (verification required).
  • Requests must be verifiable and will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
